Biography
Beverly Samuel is National Program Leader at the United States Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food & Agriculture. She oversees the Research, Extension, and Education functions of the Housing & Environmental Health grant portfolio. She provides strategic leadership for programs that improve family and community resiliency through healthy and safe housing, energy efficiency, aging in place, technologies for occupational health, disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. She serves as the NIFA Liaison to EDEN.
