Biography

Lori’s work enhances the financial capability of individuals and families, positively impacting financial security throughout life. Lori’s work has included leading the team that developed the Financial Recovery After Disaster video series to assist individuals and families to make financial decisions following natural disaster. Lori holds a Master of Education degree with Special Education emphasis from the University of Minnesota-Duluth; Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Home Economics Education/Family Life Education-University of Minnesota-Duluth. She is an Accredited Financial Counselor and holds a Certified in Family and Consumer Sciences (CFCS) designation from the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. Lori has worked as an Extension Educator for over thirty years. She has experience working with limited resource and limited literacy families and youth.
