Biography
Megan is with Nebraska’s DOT-funded local transportation Extension program. Her work focuses primarily on roadway safety. Prior to joining LTAP in 2014, she spent five years in the Nebraska State 4-H Office on a youth program integrating GIS and robotics for middle-level learners. Before the robotics program, she spent five years teaching food safety microbiology in an outreach program for the UNL Department of Food Science and Technology. Her career began as a high school agriculture and journalism teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and a Master’s degree in Community and Regional planning with a Great Plains Studies emphasis, both from UNL.
