Biography

Susan has a BS in Horticulture and Masters in Landscape Architecture. She worked in the Green Industry for 30 years and she is married to a retired firefighter/EMT. Susan was the ESF 11 Lead for the Pine Gulch Fire in Western Colorado in 2020 and have help multiple landowners with recovery since and continuing. She has done defensible space and fire resistant plants programming and has been with CSU Extension since 2014.
