Biography

My background is in forestry and am an ISA Certified Arborist. In my current role as a County Agent, I straddle both the agricultural and natural resources worlds.

I am a member of our state food safety training team, host a weekly podcast, and am building a workforce development program to increase the number of tree care workers available to respond to emergencies. I have offered CodeRed training through Annie’s Project, helped host a BERP training in conjunction with our local emergency response team, and have completed training in FEMA’s Foodborne Outbreak response.

I live in the Ohio River Valley. After watching several major floods hit our communities, I have been working to expand awareness among our policy makers, farmers, and citizens on what they can do to mitigate the impact of flooding.
