Biography

Eva Buckner is an Assistant Professor and the Medical Entomology Extension Specialist for UF. She is actively in contact with the mosquito control programs and UF/IFAS Extension offices throughout Florida. She educates stakeholders about mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases that are possible after natural disasters like hurricanes. When natural disasters occur, she provides assistance to mosquito control programs, Extension, and the public to alleviate mosquito-related problems.
