Biography

I currently serve as an Extension professional working with communities to provide educational programs that support public well-being and resilience. In my role with Alabama Cooperative Extension System, I collaborate with local partners to deliver outreach and education that address community needs, including health, safety, and disaster preparedness. My work focuses on connecting research-based information to practical applications that help individuals and families better prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Through Extension programming, I have been involved in educational initiatives that promote community readiness, public health awareness, and disaster preparedness. These programs often involve partnerships with local agencies, schools, and community organizations to ensure residents have access to reliable information and resources before, during, and after emergencies. My experience in community education has strengthened my ability to communicate risk, coordinate outreach efforts, and support programs that build long-term community resilience.
