Biography

Allyson Shabel is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and also holds a MS in Plant and Soil Sciences from Alabama A&M University. She worked at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens for 10 years as a Horticulture Specialist and has been with Alabama Cooperative Extension System as a Regional Agent for Home Grounds and Natural Resource Management since 2014 in Morgan and Lawrence Counties, Alabama.
