Biography

Andrea Robards is a Washington state native who has called Mobile, AL home since 2020. Ms. Robards completed her bachelors in Ecology with a minor in Environmental Science at Western Washington University and her masters in Forest Science and Fire Ecology at Colorado State University. Her forestry background includes work in silviculture, wildlife, tree mortality and seed viability, and understory plant communities. She has been a certified prescribed burn manager in the state of Alabama since 2023. Ms. Robards is a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard where she specialized in Search and Rescue, disaster and environmental response, and asset/crew resource management. She now serves as the Forestry, Wildlife, and Natural Resources Extension Agent for the southwest Alabama region.
