Conne Burnham
Biography
Conne Burnham is an emergency management professional with over 20 years’ experience working with local, state and federal governmental organizations and a plethora of nonÂgovernmental organizations. She is the program manager of the Community Emergency Management Program for the University of Missouri Extension program and represents MU Extension on the Missouri VOAD and the Governor’s Partnership for Disaster Recovery committees.
Conne is the co-author of the Missouri COAD Guidance Manual, the USDA Livestock Market Emergency Operations Planning template, the ARC Shelter Operations course, and the MO DHSS Points of Dispensing course, plus hundreds of simulation exercises. She is a delegate to the Extension Disaster Education Network and serves on several EDEN committees. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Social Science and in Justice Systems from Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri, holds a Missouri Teacher Certification, and is a FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner.
