Biography

Emily serves the Northwest corner of Oregon as a Family and Community Health Program Coordinator. Emily provides services that scale from small neighborhood programming to region-wide. She is currently serving on county coalitions and participating in state and national conversations to foster nutrition, physical wellness, disaster preparedness, resilient food systems, and injury prevention. Programming includes (Master Food Preserver Volunteers, Ask an Expert, Fishing First Aid and Safety Training (FFAST), QPR Suicide Prevention, and CPR/first aid), as well as offering food safety, nutrition, and physical activity education to her region. Emily has previously worked for local, county, and international organizations in Oregon, Alaska, Honduras, and Cambodia, as well as in rural Alaska.
