Biography

Frances “Frankie” I. Gould is the Associate Vice President and Professor for Strategic Communications at the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center. She provides strategic leadership, communications counsel and assistance to the LSU Vice President of Agriculture and Dean of the College of Agriculture and the administration team. She provided 19 years of leadership for the LSU AgCenter Communications team. Gould is the Southern Region Research and Extension Communications representative to APLU’s Board on Ag Assembly (BAA) Communications and Marketing Committee (CMC). She is the co-chair of the National Land-grant Impact writing team. She serves on the Southern AgInnovation Roadmap Steering Committee and chairs the Southern Research Communications Consortium. She is a 39-year member of the Association of Communication Excellence (ACE). She has an M.F.A. from the University of Nebraska and a B.F.A. from Kansas State University.
