Biography
Dr. Heidi A. Roop combines climate science and science communication to connect climate change information to decision-makers and communities across the Midwest, U.S., and abroad. She is an Assistant Professor of Climate Science at the University of Minnesota and Minnesota’s Climate Change Extension Specialist. She also holds an Affiliate Assistant Professorship at the University of Washington School of Public Health. By producing actionable, relevant climate science, Heidi helps diverse stakeholders prepare for the impacts of a changing climate.
