Biography
I am JerriAnn Cornett. My hometown is Throckmorton, TX, where I currently reside. I attended Vernon College, earning an associate degree in Farm and Ranch Management. I received my BS in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University and my MS in Agricultural Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I am presently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Counseling. I have a passion for rural small-town living and preservation. I am very fond of my West Texas area and truly enjoy working with the people and communities to promote resilience. I am fortunate in my role as a West Area Disaster Assessment and Recovery Specialist, which allows me to support my passion for West Texas. My hobbies include raising and training Quarter Horses and cattle ranching. I find peace in the country and enjoy my daily chores on my little “funny farm”.
