Biography

Joel Potter is a Mobile, AL native who now lives in the Semmes community. Mr. Potter is a graduate of Auburn University, holding a B.S. in Nursery and Greenhouse Management and a M.S. in Fruit and Nut production. His background Urban Forestry in both the private and public sectors, including recovery efforts from hurricanes Sally and Zeta. He has been an ISA Certified Arborist since 2007 and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified since 2023. He now serves as an Urban Regional Extension Agent in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
