Biography
I serve as an educator with MSU Extension focusing on land use and public policy in District 11. My interest in equitable resiliency came about after taking a “Planning Extremes” course through my graduate studies and realizing how major events (natural or human – made) can severely impact communities if they are not built to prevent or quickly recover from these instances. In addition, it is also important to note that wealthy and non-white communities are more likely to recover at a quicker rate with more resources as opposed to communities of color and/or lower-income. By joining EDEN I hope to gain more knowledge in these areas and also bring my own passion and voice to this space.
