Biography
Kelsey Irvine is a 4-H Youth Development Agent for Nassau County under the University of Florida (UF IFAS Extension) since 2017. She spent several years as a veterinary technician and earned her Master’s in Animal Science with an equine specialty in 2016. Kelsey creates, evaluates, and delivers a wide variety of 4-H programming but specializes in animal science, environmental science, and emergency preparedness programs. She co-created an innovative Youth Emergency Team (YET) program with her partners Nassau County Emergency Management, serves as one of the local ESF-17 partners for Nassau County, and is helping co-author publications on Equine specific emergency and disaster strategies with UF IFAS’ State Wide Equine Extension Team (SWEET).
