Biography
Lilian Thaoxaochay is the UC ANR Disaster Resiliency, Planning, and Policy Advisor for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.
She began her career at UC ANR in 2021 providing disaster relief support and technical assistance for small-scale, largely family owned and operated farms impacted by COVID-19, drought, and other extreme weather incidents.
She is a social scientist and has degrees in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz and Stanford University.
