Biography

Megan Kay is the Manager of the Living With Fire (LWF) Program and has been with the program since January 2020. In this role, she has worked extensively to help communities across Nevada become more fire adapted and has developed resources that bridge the gap between science and action to address the challenges of living with wildfire. Prior to joining LWF, Megan served as a wildland firefighter for five seasons in Carson City, Virginia City, and Incline Village, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts and graphic design. She is passionate about serving her community and helping people live more safely with wildfire.
