Biography

Rick is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Animal Environment. His primary appointment is with Biological Systems Engineering and he has a joint appointment with the Department of Animal Science. Rick’s outreach and research interests focus on improving air quality in and around livestock and poultry facilities, mitigating thermal stress in livestock and poultry, and facility design for optimal environmental management. Rick works with Nebraska EDEN to disseminate EDEN information and facilitate livestock-related programs within the state.
