Biography
Wade serves as the Food Safety Educator for MSU Extension. Wade’s experience spans a variety of settings from quality control and assurance in food manufacturing facilities, to laboratory work in commercial laboratories and a major research university. Wade earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Science degree in Food Safety, and a Graduate Certificate in homeland security from Michigan State University. Wade offers of educational programming in the Greater West Michigan area and online. Programming areas include ServSafe, Cottage Food Law, Cooking for Crowds, and Food Preservation. Wade’s interest areas are food safety, food preservation, and food defense.
